The translations system is back!

Hey guys,

the translations system is back online with updated installer and system strings, which I was working on since yesterday. I ported all languages to the latest oneye release and uploaded them, so our users can find them via http://wiki.lars-sh.de/translations . The German translations are completed.

So now we're finally open for everone, who's interested in translating oneye. To get a translators account, just send me a mail to mail@lars-sh.de , where you give me the following details:

* Your full name and email
* Your preferred username
* The language you'd like to translate into
* In case there's already an existing translation I need one further information: Do you want to continue the existing one or are you interested in doing everything from scratch?!

During the last hours I was even working on one more thing: I can provide a simple xml file for new translations, so translating the first time goes just easier.

Best regards,
Lars Knickrehm

Re: The translations system is back!

Great!

I've already started to adapt, complete and improve the previous french translation for oneye but I'd like to see your german's files to be sure not to forget anything.

So, I've sent the mail you want wink

Thanks.

Re: The translations system is back!

Thanks to http://forums.lars-sh.de/viewtopic.php?id=112 I fixed a lot translation problems for the next release.

Translators can update their translations and test them using the latest SVN revsion.

Please remember: I didn't add the new ACL strings, yet!

*coughs politely*

Perhaps the following textfiles may be useful?

The above will need integrating into the translation files, and I hope I've listed them in a way that will make that straight forward.

Re: The translations system is back!

Hi,

I can't open the string "Echoes the content of a file. This function is the equivalent of the readFile() function for real files." to translate it sad

Re: The translations system is back!

Haha, it seems my server blocks the request, cause it contains "readFile" xD ... Will need to investigate a bit here. For now just post the translation here and I'll add it manually. Beside that the French help translations are online - finally. I was in need of changing the way we save the titles in order to simplify things a bit. So content should work in all recent versions, but titles might fail.

Sidenote: There are two folders, which you didn't translate?!

Forot to say: You should take the latest files from http://eyeos.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc … l/eyeHelp/ for further translations!

OK! Here it is:
"Echoes the content of a file. This function is the equivalent of the readFile() function for real files." has to be
"Reproduit le contenu d'un fichier. Cette fonction est l'équivalent de la fonction readFile() pour les fichiers réels."
With this string, the french translation will be 100% finished...

??? What are you talking about? Translating oneye or eyeHelp? Where are these folders, please?

Re: The translations system is back!

The French translation is at 100% now.

I was talking about the eyeHelp pages "Console d'Aide > Carnet d'Adresses > Adding a new contact" and "Console d'Aide > Carnet d'Adresses > Viewing, editing and deleting a contact".

Re: The translations system is back!

OK! I understand what you mean, now.
Originally, these two folders are empty and I had nothing to translate big_smile but I'll add the two files missing to translate their strings... I'll inform you in the correct topic when it's OK wink
