App to develope within Oneye

Was just thinking, how about logging into your Oneye installation, open up a text editor of sorts and continue working on your app ?
The Oneye system could create the folders and empty files for you (as a skeleton) and you can add new files in there and edit it, this would give it a small bit independance. ( Would be perfect if it was possible to also make an installation file from it, but thats a bridge to far )
Its not impossible, all there needs to be is that the folders are created and perhaps a special text editor app included with syntax (doable with javascript) which can access the real path of the installation.

Ofcourse this would be for administrator accounts only.

What do you think of this and is it feasable ?

Re: App to develope within Oneye

As s06 said, we've eyeDesigner on one hand and you can copy the app's files from the real system to your user's folder and back.

To do so, just launch eyeFiles, select the "Real" part and browse your system's files - but be careful not to break your system wink ...

Re: App to develope within Oneye

I think that it is possible to edit the files directly going through the "real" tab in eyeFiles. I've tried this once, but the problem was that the text editor with syntax highlighting was too slow, but all this was before Google Chrome even existed so maybe it is useable now...
