Re: Sync app?

eyeSync is made for synchronising files between your eyeos account and your local files. It's been developed in cooperation of Marvin and the previous eyeos team including me.

So what do you mean with "native" synchronisation? Maybe delivering a piece of software directly within the oneye download?

Re: Sync app?

Hi Lars,

yes, i'm referring to some php app included in the oneye or external php app.
so the users can sync their files without any other program.
imagine you are in a pc that not yours. you have to be always with a pendrive with eyeSync installed.

i'm asking about something like as eyeSync, but running directly of oneye system.
sorry my english

Thanks...

Re: Sync app?

I'm not sure how it should work. We cannot jump out of the browser's security area in order to access your hard or flash drives.

Did you see a similar technique somewhere else, yet?

Re: Sync app?

Okay, so what did it do exactly? Did it install something? E.g. some Java applet, some native application?

What function did it have? Synchronizing what folders?

By giving more and more answers we might get a new idea of how to solve this wink ...

Re: Sync app?

Hi Lars,
i don't know how was work because, i don't test it. only i saw that was there. and now i don't find the downloaded files (for install it again -.-).
But, searching the web found it: https://blogs.oracle.com/netbeansphp/en … onization1
i think that is useful.

i'm reding about eyeos professional, and it have a very good options, like is "eyerun" to modify documents using programs installed in the pc, or the drag and drop possibility between pc and eyeone desktop.
And the sync option in the toolbar
d_EYESYNC1.png

i don't comparing one-eye and eyeos projects, not get me wrong.
one-eye is a great project, but that would be cool to have those  options.
Is possible for future releases?

If i find the files that i'm searching, it will more easy xD.

sorry my english.

Re: Sync app?

In eyeos 2 eyeSync means offline usage only. It's not meant for synchronizing.

Actually the idea of eyeRun is quite old and I already prepared a Java applet long ago. Once a sponsor donates for that feature I'll finish that project.

So in case you are interested in an offline for oneye, please, help us finding interested sponsors wink
