new repository on github

I figured out how to upload some of the apps that I have tested to github.  Very few are perfect, so in many you will find a Known Issues text file.  These could be things that either need a fix or things that must be customized by each admin.

I'll keep adding as I test and "fix" more.

Re: new repository on github

I've already messed up my github.  I just don't understand much of it, and it seems like they want me to read the tech manual to figure it out.  All I wanted to do was post an update to eyeDesigner.   O Well, I'll look at it again later.

Re: new repository on github

For now I've taken my github repository down again. I don't think anyone will miss it as I don't think it got a single hit.  Anyway, I signed up for beta testing the new git for windows when it comes out.  Hopefully, the new program is not so lifeless and hard to understand.  Eventually, I'll be ready to build another repository.

I am still testing old apps and fixing a few things here and there.  I have only made a couple of changes to core apps.  I'm still trying to fix some of the old apps, but more and more I've been looking for new apps that with a little effort might make good additions or substitutions for core apps.  It's a major bonus if the app doesn't depend on a third party website (as they tend to get modified or simply go "bye-bye" without warning).  I'm finding tons of cool flash apps.  All those will plug in so easily, but it's another bonus if no flash is involved. Right now, I am pouring over github looking for a replacement for the eyeNav app.   Amongst all the false positives are a few possibilities.   I'm trying to stick to javascript and php, but heck if someone wrote a browser app in flash or even java, I'd be willing to try it.
