more publicity for oneye

If we want to get more people involved in the project it might be a good idea to launch a social media campaign for oneye. This means creating a Twitter account, a facebook page, a LinkedIn group and page and so on. If we allready have anything please share the URL's so we can all follow like and re-tweet. If we get more people in, there can be more development.

Re: more publicity for oneye

OK, later today or tomorrow morning I'll create them and post here the links.

There's just the problem that we won't be able to change the name of the facebook page when the project is renamed, but I'll create it anyway.

Thanks smile !

We'll just create a new facebook page and tell users of the old page to move. I guess there's no easier way...

I'd like to have some more action in the oneye blog. So in case you'd like to use it for some private or community related posts, just tell me. Same for Gunnar.

I created this group to promote your software project. I'm hoping it will draw in both the end users and the programmers.

I see a lot of the forum discussions are about 4 years old.  I am happy to see last year's release of 0.9.  I was stuck using eyeos 2.5 before that.  I could not find any apps that would run on 2.5.  I think a lot of people got upset and left the project when eyeos2.x broke all their apps.  I could be wrong, but breaking all the apps was bad, right?  Many of the old apps for eyeos 1.x seem to run on oneye, but it's impossible to know which ones will work without installing and testing each one. A Revo style app uninstaller would help.  The two themes I tried were scrambled messes, due to the completely changed menu layouts (I guess), so I stopped trying them.
