Application suggestion for learning

Hello, I'd like to play around and make an application for oneye/eyeos.
I'll think I'll modify an existing application to get the feeling.
I have very few experience with coding ( I'm not good, I clearly admit ) do have a handbook on PHP5, ( Zend certificate programming or something ).

Suggestions are welcome.

Re: Application suggestion for learning

Hi Ansem,
first of all, download and always keep open the PHP5 documentation, which is extremely useful (it reminds you syntax, inputs and outputs of every PHP function): http://www.php.net/download-docs.php
Then, look at the following article, where I linked all the useful eyeos/oneye documentations: http://lars-sh.de/2011/10/01/how-to-sta … -in-oneye/

Then if you have time, you are patient and willing to learn new exciting things, you'll gradually become a great oneye programmer! wink

Look at the HelloWorld app (included in all oneye releases), the code is explained in the PDF oneye documentation (old but useful, since the architecture is the same, with some new functions, services and widgets)....try to edit it and then make some experiments....don't forget to enable debug mode on your system and install firebug in your firefox, keeping the console activated, so you see all the errors (you'll made a lot, that's the way to learn smile )
