eyeMedia

I've just figured out that eyeMediaPlayer will actually play MP3's, but ONLY if you change the extension to eyeFile...  I figured that one out by Accident.  I don't know what other "media" it's supposed to handle, but if I change the extension from mp3 to eyeFile, it will finally play music.  I could look to see if it's something I can fix, but I usually don't like modifying the core apps myself.

Re: eyeMedia

I can play virtual (oneye uploaded) files without problems. Files of the "real" file system are not meant to be opened by oneye applications!

Re: eyeMedia

Nah, the flash mp3 player works fine (on 99% of mp3s), but the multi selection player wouldn't play anything until one day I told it play one in real with an extension of eyefile.  suddenly it played.  It will not play the virtual mp3 version.  It's messed up somehow.  And I have not been able to play a single video with any of the video players.  Only way is to load a web formatted video into an iframe.

Re: eyeMedia

I installed a clean version of latest and tried again.  took a mp3 in virtual filesystem.  It would not play with eyeMediaPlayer, not the little flash thing, but the one with the big interface.  Then I rename it to xxx.mp3.eyefile and it plays.

Re: eyeMedia

Ok, I'm not sure what happened, but after installing those 16 files, the media player plays mp3 normally now.  smile  Even though I couldn't get it to work in what I thought was a clean install.  Will wonders never cease.
