Error Undefined variable PHPSESSID

Hello,

I would like to install this great oneye software on my host server, but I've got a little problem.

when I start the install process there is some errors/warnings :
'safe_mode = 0'                    it's red and no text in the field
'allow_url_fopen = 1'              it's orange no text in the field
  'disable_functions'                 it's orange with  'set_time_limit,passthru,exec,system,popen,shell_exec,proc_open'
'magic_quotes_gpc = 0'         it's orange no text in the field
'magic_quotes_runtime = 0'    it's orange no text in the field
'magic_quotes_sybase = 0'    it's orange no text in the field
  'register_globals = 0'              it's orange '1' in the field

then I hit continue button, put a password, intall oneye! button... after it switch to a new empty page with 'Powered by oneye' on top.

When I check the html source I see a error message :
Notice: Undefined variable: PHPSESSID in  ...../system_610f673aa8/system/services/sec/main.eyecode on line 82

I'm sure there is a problem with my host settings, but not sure wich is giving me this problem.

If possible I don't want to change host.
Host is using PHP 5.2 (can upgrade it to 5.3 if needed).

Could anyone help me ?

Thanks,
Cedium

Re: Error Undefined variable PHPSESSID

We should hide the "Continue" button as long as the installer shows errors (the red ones). You'll need to solve all red lines in order to run oneye. And solving those orange lines will make oneye run a lot faster.

So please, disable safe_mode. And as far as possible you could disable magic_quotes and register_globals, too.

PS: Updating to PHP 5.3 is highly recommended in order to speed up oneye!

Best regards,
