Can't use eyeDeveloper (should be eyeDesigner- common mistake for me)

It (eyeDesigner) doesn't fit on my small screen even when everything is at full screen.  The last entry I see in the widgets panel is toolbar.  I know it's not yet an official part of the package, but it really should be.  Is there a way to let the widget panel know when it reaches the end of it's screen and it can start at the top again?  Scalability is really important these days.  I'm on a 1078x768 and still have problems.  Anything smaller would be practically useless.

PS- I just had a thought- can a scroll bar be added to the widget panel? Maybe the widget list panel could use it as well, not sure?  I'm already trying to add the scroll bar(s) now, but my first guess (adding + LISTED to the style list) was wrong. Maybe my next guess will be right.  lol.

Re: Can't use eyeDeveloper (should be eyeDesigner- common mistake for me)

Alright, after a failed attempt to use 'scroll'=>'auto', I found some css commands in the eyeDocCentre appcode that is working.  All the boxes and windows now have scroll bars. Big "yay!"- That part is working really well, but I'm pretty sure I still need to modify one more piece of the eyeDocCentre code and patch it in. The boxes tend to jump around, and if I get too close to the title bar of the main window, the title bars get locked together. I think the remaining piece of css code fixes that problem and keeps them inside the box (off the tool bar and far away from the title bar) by assigning relative positions which they cannot cross. It's a little bit complicated for me, but I think I can decipher it enough to get it to work.  I'll let "ya'll" know how it works out.  I'm honestly trying to get eyeDesigner ready to be merged into the core.

The eyeDocCentre and pdf Developer's Manual should go hand in hand with it, but, as you already know, the information in those apps is almost a decade out of date.  They are almost a hindrance rather than a help. Even so, I'm hoping that other programmer that said he was redoing the documentation is using eyeDocCentre (and the associated PDF) as launch points.  The interface is very nice and all he would have to do is update all the XML codes in the Doc Centre.  The PDF is a little more difficult to modify, but I have adobe acrobat, so if I had the updated information I could modify it.  Another good app that works out of the box but needs some minor updates is the eyeWelcome app. I've also dug up a very old User's Manual from inside that eyeos 0.8 standalone server.  It's not very useful in it's present state but it might be good enough to start someone in the right direction, at least.

Oh well, enough rambling, I'm going to go play with this css code.

Re: Can't use eyeDeveloper (should be eyeDesigner- common mistake for me)

I "compiled" code using the eyeDesigner for first time last night.  The interface is still a little glitchy but it works better than before.  I thought it would generate both app code and event code.  It seems all I got was event or maybe it was just appcode, I couldn't even tell. What did I miss?
